All means to be utilised to ensure fair polls: Sindh election commissioner
Sindh Election Commissioner Sharifullah met Karachi Commissioner Muhammad Salim Rajput at his office on Saturday to discuss the conduct of transparent elections.
The Karachi commissioner congratulated Sharifullah on his appointment as the provincial election commissioner of Sindh. Joint provincial election commissioner (Elections) Sindh Ali Asghar Sial was also present during the meeting.
Sharifullah and Rajput discussed the exchange of ideas for conducting general elections in a peaceful, transparent, fair, and impartial manner.
The election commissioner stated that all means would be utilised to ensure the transparent, fair, and impartial conduct of elections. The election schedule had been issued, and now the entire country was engaged in preparations for the elections. The election commission was ready to fulfill its constitutional responsibility.
