Call to protect Wapda workers’ interests

LAHORE: Wapda General Manager (Hydel) Operation Nadeem Iqbal Friday demanded the government focus on the needs of Wapda workers, who are endangering their lives during hard duty.
Addressing a moot of employees working at Hydel power stations at Bakhtiar Labour Hall, here, organised by All Pakistan Wapda Hydro Electric Workers Union CBA, Nadeem said interests of the workers should be protected and they should be awarded according to their achievements.
Khurshid Ahmad General Secretary of the Union called for allocation of more resources for Wapda to get completed projects successfully.
