Islamabad: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), has captured four people involved in killing and human trafficking racketeers through Interpol and handed over to the law enforcement agencies to whom they were required, spokesman of the FIA said.
An absconder, Ejaz Ahmad was wanted to Gujranwala police in a murder case but he left Pakistan and stayed in Kuwait, the spokesman said, adding that the NCB of the FIA took up the case on the request of the concerned police and issued Red Notice to Interpol and located the suspect staying in Kuwait.
The Interpol arrested the accused, shifted him to Islamabad and handed him over to FIA Immigration, who was later surrendered to the Gujranwala police. In another case, the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle (AHTC) of FIA has captured three people involved in depriving people of millions of rupees for sending them abroad. The racketeers identified as Abdul Mehboob, Mohammad Mustafa and Mohammad Khan were arrested from Islamabad, Lahore and Chakwal.
