PU awards PhD degrees to 10 scholars: Punjab University (PU) awarded PhD degrees to 10 of its scholars.

According to details, Faiza Shams has been awarded PhD degree in the subject of Molecular Biology, Tanzeela Rehman in the subject of Biological Sciences (Molecular Biology), Muniba Abid in the subject of Agricultural Sciences (Plant Pathology), Israrul Haq in the subject of Arabic, Ayesha Sabeen in the subject of Islamic Studies, Hafiza Sidra Zulfiqar in the subject of Arabic, Ayesha Zafar in the subject of Zoology, Muhammad Alam in the subject of Social Work, Asra Ghaus in the subject of Zoology and Saliha Bashir in the subject of Molecular Biology.

UVAS syndicate meets

The 73rd meeting of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Syndicate was held at City Campus here on Monday.

UVAS Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad presided over the meeting, in which various agenda items were discussed and decisions were taken.

Earlier, the vice-chancellor briefed the syndicate members on various academic, research, short-term hands-on training, seminars, national and international conferences, development projects, and achievements, initiatives for the development of veterinary education and livestock sector etc.

Secretary Livestock & Dairy Development Department Punjab Muhammad Masood Anwar, former Vice-Chancellor University of Home Economics Prof Dr Kanwal Ameen, Registrar Sajjad Hyder and other officials attended the meeting.
