Murtaza Javed Abbasi said that they would follow the decisions made by the top leaders during a recent meeting.“Hazrat (Maulana Fazlur Rahman) may have informed you about the decisions taken in the recent meeting of the top leadership. They decided to make adjustments on seats in such a manner that they could win a majority,” Murtaza Abbasi told the JUIF leaders.

The two sides had a detailed discussion over the strategy for the general elections. They also decided to hold another meeting next week. Meanwhile, the provincial executive council of JUIF discussed the details of the meeting with the PMLN delegations and announced that their doors were open for talks with all the political forces. The meeting expressed concern over the transfers and postings in the province, especially against administrative positions at the behest of one political party. The meeting was held here with provincial president of the party Maulana Ataur Rahman in the chair. The participants reviewed the preparations for the general elections and discussed the recommendations submitted by the districts.

According to JUIF spokesman Abdul Jalil Jan, a report on the talks between JUIF and PMLN was presented at the meeting. After thorough discussion, the participants decided that doors for talks would be kept open for all the political parties, including Muslim League and except PTI. The meeting was informed that a preliminary meeting with the PMLN delegation was held and the second round of talks would be held next week.

The participants of the meeting said they had already authorized the district chapters of the party to make seat-to-seat adjustments with other parties at district level with any party, except for the PTI.
