Shehbaz praises beauty of Sindhi culture
LAHORE: Former prime minister and PMLN President Shehbaz Sharif has shared his warm regards and extended heartfelt congratulations on Sindhi Culture Day to everyone celebrating this vibrant occasion.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Shehbaz said, “Today, the colours of the Sindhi soil are celebrated with traditional enthusiasm and fervour across the globe. It is a testament to the rich cultural heritage that Sindhi people proudly embrace.”
He further emphasized, “Sindh is not merely a region; it is a land of hosts, benevolent people, mystics, and the poor. The diversity and warmth of its people make Sindh truly special.”
The former prime minister expressed his admiration for the iconic Ajrak and Sindhi Topi, stating, “These cultural symbols are not just garments; they represent the beauty and identity of our beloved Sindh. They are a source of pride for every Sindhi.” Reflecting on the significance of this day, the PMLN president remarked, “Today is a day to remember centuries-old traditions and cultural values. It is an opportunity to honour the resilience and richness of Sindhi culture that has withstood the test of time.” Shehbaz Sharif hoped and prayed, “May Allah keep the regions of Sindh prosperous forever, along with the entire Pakistan. Let this celebration be a reminder of the unity and cultural diversity that define our nation.”
