DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Organising healthy activities is necessary for the physical development and mental well-being of students alongside their education, stated Gomal University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Shakib Ullah on Monday.
The vice-chancellor made these remarks at the conclusion of the final match during the Inter-College Athletic Competitions. Director of Sports Dr Wasim Khan, along with other staff members, was also present on the occasion.
Dr Shakib Ullah said that he prioritised sports activities for students alongside their educational pursuits, adding that students were bringing distinction to Gomal University in this respect. Addressing the gathering, Dr Waseem mentioned that, after 15 years, inter-collegiate athletic competitions were held for all affiliated colleges under the guidance of the vice-chancellor.
