A man killed his widowed sister-in-law and her male friend in the name of honour at a residence in Yar Muhammad Goth, Manghopir, on Monday. The victims, identified as 30-year-old Shahzadi, wife of Sher Gul, and her alleged friend, 35-year-old Nawab Khan, son of Hakim Khan, to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Shahzadi, a mother of three children, had become a widow some time ago. Ali Khan, the suspected perpetrator, was apprehended at the crime scene, and the murder weapon was confiscated by police.
Police stated that the motive behind the killings was allegedly related to honour. A case has been registered, and an ongoing investigation is underway to uncover further details surrounding this tragic incident.
