Purchase of prohibited bore arms, except those made by POF, banned

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has banned purchase of prohibited bore arms apart from weapons made by the Pakistan Ordinance Factory (POF) Wah.
The ministry has issued a notification on the ban to counter fake receipts by the private weapons dealers.
The spokesman of the Ministry of Interior confirmed the report, saying that private arms dealers were issuing fake receipts of prohibited bore when the import of prohibited bore weapons are banned by the Government of Pakistan.
