Chitral varsity students get laptops
CHITRAL: Around 114 laptops were distributed among the talented students of University of Chitral under the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme on Sunday.
The distribution ceremony was held at the main hall of university where Dr Mir Baiz Khan, a professor of Toronto University, Canada, was the chief guest. Other guests, including Higher Education Commission Deputy Director (audit) Sultan Zeb, University of Chitral Project Director Engr Ziaullah and Abdul Wali Khan advocate also attended the function.
Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme focal person and University of Chitral of Provost Dr Tajuddin Sharar presided over the programme.
Congratulating the students, Dr Mir Baiz Khan said that these laptops would not only prove a milestone in improving your studies but would also help you in finding online jobs.
He said that its positive use would improve your capabilities of research and creation in the field of education.University of Chitral Vice-Chancellor Dr Zahir Shah thanked the ECP team for the provision of laptops to the students.
