First-aid training held at S Waziristan school
WANA: The training wing of Rescue 1122 South Waziristan conducted first-aid training in the Lower South Waziristan district on Saturday.
District Emergency Officer Engineer Waqas Alam supervised the event at the Musa Nika Public High School and College, Wana, following an instruction of Director General Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr Khateer Ahmed
During the training, the wing instructor provided a practical explanation to the students and school staff on topics such as throat irritation, snake bites, electrocution, knife injuries, and firefighting.
The rescue team also demonstrated simple rescue methods and explained them in various ways to the students. At the end, the school staff and students thanked the Rescue 1122 team for the training and expressed hope for more such events in the future.
