Security forces kill two terrorists near Pak-Afghan border
RAWALPINDI: Security forces killed two terrorists while four others were seriously injured in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) near the Pak-Afghan border in Chitral district.
On the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, security forces conducted an IBO in general area Ursoon near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Chitral district. During the operation, intense fire exchange took place between Pakistani troops and terrorists.
Resultantly, two terrorists were sent to hell, while four other were injured seriously. Sanitization of the surrounding areas is being carried out to neutralise any other terrorist found in the area. Locals of the area appreciated the operation by security forces, who remain determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country.
