Shake-up in federal bureaucracy
ISLAMABAD: The federal government has made high-level postings and transfers in the federal bureaucracy.
Pakistan Administrative Service Grade 21 Additional Secretary, Power Division, Arshad Majeed Mohmand, has been transferred and appointed as National Highway Authority Chairman under Section 10 of Civil Servants Act 1973.
Also, Pakistan Administrative Service Grade 22 Special Secretary Communication Division, Ali Sher Mehsud, has been assigned to look after the charge
of the Communications Division with an immediate effect until further notice. Meanwhile, Syed Mazhar Hussain Shah of the Inland Revenue Service, Grade 19, has been posted as Member (Finance), National Highway Authority, under Section 10 of the Civil Servants Act, 1973. He previously held the position of Member Finance at the CDA.
According to another notification, Tahir Mehmood of Foreign Service, who is at the disposal of PM’s Office, has been promoted to Grade 19. The Establishment Division has issued notifications of all orders.
