LAHORE: Three more leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) called it quits with the party and joined the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) of Jahangir Khan Tareen, who once used to be a close aide to PTI Chairman Imran Khan, Geo News reported.
Former federal minister Farrukh Habib was the last one to join the IPP before former PTI lawmakers Andleeb Abbas, Sadia Sohail and Sumaira Bokhari. They announced their affiliation with Tareen’s party in a meeting with him. On the occasion, IPP spokesperson Firdous Ashiq Awan, who is also one of the former PTI leaders who parted ways with Imran, said that she welcomes her “political sisters” to the party.
