Two miners die of gas suffocation
MACH: Two miners died of gas suffocation in a coalmine in the Mach area of Bolan district on Wednesday.Spokesman for the Levies force said that the victims including Faiz Badeshah and Muhammad Saqib resident of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were working in the coalmine when it filled with poisonous gas which caused their death.The bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital. Levies force has registered a case.
Prayer leader shot dead in Mansehra

MANSEHRA: A local prayer leader was gunned down by unidentified armed men in Oghi here on Wednesday, sources said.The sourses said that the prayer leader, Shah Memood Rizvi, who was affiliated with Ahle Sunnat faction, was on his way home from the mosque when unidentified gunmen opened fire on him, leaving him dead.The accused managed to escape while the body was shifted to the King Abdullah Hospital in Mansehra for autopsy.
Army helpline 1135 activated

BHAKKAR: The army helpline 1135 has been activated in Sargodha Division, including Bhakkar district, to counter any terrorists attack. Sources said that the army would take prompt action after receiving information of any emergency situation.
