SUKKUR: The Sindh Human Rights Commission (SHRC) on Sunday expressed concern over the recent incident of harassment and disruption that took place during the Sikh community’s religious gathering at a Gurdwara in Sukkur.
An initial inquiry conducted by a member of the Sindh Human Rights Commission’s board revealed that some people allegedly disrupted the religious gathering at Sukkur Gurdwara on June 29 and intimidated the devotees, forcing them to halt their prayers. The incident was in violation of Article 20 of the Constitution of Pakistan.
