HYDERABAD: At least eight labourers including a woman were killed and five others critically injured when a train hit a truck near Tando Jam late on Sunday night.
According to the police, the accident took place when the Lahore-bound Ghulam Fareed Express rammed into a truck at a railway crossing near Tando Jam.
Sources said the dead and five injured were shifted to taluka hospital and Hyderabad.
A labourer, who remained unhurt in the accident, said 13 members of the same family were traveling to Matiari from Darya Khan village for work.
