Militant related to Safoora tragedy held in Karachi: Police
According to sources, the accused has confessed in initial investigation that he had connections with the main players of the Safoora tragedy and he had assisted the central accused Saad Azeez and his colleagues.
KARACHI: Police and LECs, in a joint operation, has arrested a militant, who belonged to the Al-Qaeda Barr-e-Sagheer, from the area of Saddar in Karachi.
The arrested militant has revealed connections with the main characters of the Safoora incident.
The suspect has been identified as Usman Khan.
According to sources, the accused has confessed in initial investigation that he had connections with the main players of the Safoora tragedy and he had assisted the central accused Saad Azeez and his colleagues.
The investigative sources said that the arrested militant is a dentist by profession and he was delivering to the Al-Qaeda the extortion money, collected from various areas of the city.
One kilashenkov and nine bullets were recovered from the arrested militant who is being further investigation continues.
