LAHORE: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Sirajul Haq on Saturday declared the sale/purchase agreement for Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) between Pakistan and Qatar as a disadvantageous deal.
“The people are being kept in the dark about the details of Pakistan-Qatar LNG deal,” he claimed while addressing a gathering of female students belonging to JI.
He said the government is even by passing the parliament, adding, whether Pakistan buys LNG from Qatar or not, it will have to make the payments.
The JI Amir said his party is launching an anti-corruption campaign across Pakistan from March.
He said a huge amount of Rs375 billions looted from Pakistani wealth are lying in overseas banks.
Sirajul Haq demanded of the government to withdraw the increase in the prices of medicines.
