Non-functional Sindh schools to be handed over to private sector

KARACHI: Secretary Education Sindh, Fazlullah Pechuho has announced that non-functional government schools of the province would be handed over to the private sector.
The education secretary announced that in the first phase, five schools would be handed over to the private sector, adding that schools in Karachi, Sukkur and Khairpur would be handed over to the private sector within few days.
Pechuho regretted that in the past, schools were established for the Otaqs (sitting places) for feudals.
