KARACHI: Two accused were killed in an alleged police encounter in Korangi area of Karachi early on Thursday morning.
According to SSP SIU Farooq Awan, police, on a tip-off, conducted raid in Korangi, where exchange of fire took place with the accused.
Two accused were killed in the shootout, the police officer said.
They were involved in several bank robberies, he said and added that weapons were also recovered from their possession.
