KARACHI: The number is on rise of planes from the fleet of the national flag carrier taking part in the flight operations.
After carrying Umrah pilgrims to Karachi, flights of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) brought back more pilgrims to Lahore from Saudi Arabia on Monday.
Earlier, two PIA flights carrying Umrah pilgrims landed in Rawalpindi and one in Karachi. The pilgrims expressed their joy and excitement upon returning home.
PIA offices at Blue Area, Islamabad and Edgerton Road Lahore have reopened.
This is not it. One PIA flight took off for Dubai and another for Damascus.
PIA spokesman also claimed that all the booking offices of the national flag carrier are now open and the staff is also checking in.
Chances of resumption of flight operation in Peshawar have also become bright, as inspection of planes standing at the airport for the past six days has begun. The captain and other crew have also begun to show up.
The situation of overall flight operations of PIA is much better today compared to how things appeared on Sunday.
