KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Farooq Sattar on Sunday likened everything that is happening with Pakistan International Airline (PIA) with a total devastation, saying his party stands with the employees of the national flag carrier in their demands.
Speaking to the protesting employees of PIA during his visit to their camp here, Farooq Sattar said protecting the national institutions is like saving Pakistan.
He told the demonstrators that he is all set to travel to Islamabad where he will present their demands to the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
The MQM leader said not only would his party put forth these demands but also offer to play the role of a mediator between the government and protesting employees of PIA.
