KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan on Saturdsay urged the Prime Minister to withdraw the extension Essential Services Act to Pakistan International Airline (PIA) and immediately initiate talks with its protesting employees.
Addressing the demonstrators of PIA here upon his arrival at Karachi airport, the PTI chief also demanded of the government to constitute a judicial commission to investigate into the incident of firing at the PIA’s protesting employees.
He said whenever the government would engage in something negative, his party would come out on to the streets.
Later, talking to the people at Star Gate, Imran Khan called for reducing the price of diesel by further Rs30 per litre. “Further reduction in diesel price would benefit small farmers, traders and transporters,” he added.
