JI, PTI reach agreement on Karachi LG polls seat adjustment
KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) have reached an agreement on seat adjustment in connection with the upcoming Local Government elections in Karachi.
Both the parties agreed to have ‘Tarazu’ (weight measuring scale) as their election symbol for 80 percent of the union committees.
But as far as the election of Mayor is concerned, both parties will field their separate candidates.

The LG polls will be held in Karachi in the third phase scheduled to be organized on December 3.
