KARACHI: More than 150 flights were grounded as the protest by the employees of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) still continues on Thursday.
PIA action committee has vowed to continue protest till their demands were not met.
The protest against the proposed privatization of the PIA is continuing in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and other cities despite imposition of Essential Services Act by the government.
Employees are staging sit-ins in the major cities on second consecutive day. Flight operation is completely suspended for two days on the call of Joint Action Committee.
