KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister, Nisar Khuhro on Saturday claimed that all the people who lost their lives in an armed clash in Khairpur were voters of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
Talking to media persons, Nisar Khuhro said the culprits will be apprehended after registration of the incident’s case.
The provincial Information Minister claimed that those who opened fire at Union Council Daraza Sharif have been traced.
He said the opponents resorted to killing as a punishment for casting votes in PPP’s favour, vowing the victims’ families would be provided justice at all costs.
At least 12 people were killed when an armed clash erupted between two political groups during the first phase of Local Government elections in Khairpur today.
