PESHAWAR: Earthquake tremors were felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its surroundings on Wednesday,
The epic centre of the quake was reported to be in the Hindu Kush range and Afghanistan, with the earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale. Earthquake measuring 5.2 magnitudes were recorded.

According to the statement of National Seismic Monitoring Centre, the epic center of the earth quake which struck at 04:19am on Wednesday morning was located in the Hindu Kush Region, Afghanistan at the depth of 310 kilometer.
