Interior Minister takes notice of MQM worker's killing
ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has taken notice of the killing of a Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) worker in Karachi.
The interior minister has summoned reports from Director General Rangers and Inspector General Police Sindh.

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has taken notice of the killing of a Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) worker in Karachi.
The interior minister has summoned reports from Director General Rangers and Inspector General Police Sindh.
Earlier on Wednesday, the body of MQM worker Suhail Ahmed was recovered from the Maripur of Karachi. In a statement MQM chief Altaf Hussain condemned the killing and said Ahmed was the unit incharge of Society area.
Altaf Hussain said the total number of extra-judicial murders of his party’s workers had risen to 36 in Karachi. The MQM chief urged the prime minister, Army chief, DG ISI and interior minister to take notice of the incidents.
Meanwhile, the MQM has called for a day of mourning over the murder of Suhail Ahmed on Friday.
