ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has stated that media has created awareness among the masses.
The Information Minister was addressing inauguration ceremony of United Nations (UN) Information Centre in Islamabad on Thursday.

The Information Minister was addressing inauguration ceremony of United Nations (UN) Information Centre in Islamabad on Thursday.
Promoting independent and responsible media, and dissemination of information to the people is policy of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government, he said.
Rashid went on to say Pakistan is determined to implement the charter and principles of the United Nations. The UN is working with government, civil society and other organizations, he added.
