Bacha Khan University attack case registered

PESHAWAR: A case of Bacha Khan University attack, in which 20 people were killed and more than 30 injured, has been lodged in Anti-Terrorism Mardan Region on Thursday.
The FIR was registered on the complaint of SHO Sardheri police station. Terrorism, murder and attempt to murder charges have been included in the case.
According to the text of the FIR, the militants stormed the university at 8:30 AM and the gunfight with police and security forces began at 9:00 AM, which continued till 1:00PM.
Meanwhile, a day of mourning is being observed across the country today (Thursday).
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had Wednesday announced a day of mourning for today following the armed attack on Bacha Khan University, Charsadda.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial government had announced three-day mourning following the tragic incident.
More than 20 innocent students, teachers and other people were martyred and more than 35 injured in the attack.
