SUKKUR: Police claimed to have recovered three girls, abducted from Karachi a month back, however, the girls have rejected the claim, saying they left home and married of their own free will.
According to Sukkur police, the girls have been identified as Nusrat 18, Samreen 19 and 10-year-old Sabina. The case of abduction, which implicates influential people of Shikarpur, was registered at Azizabad police station.
Police said, the girls will be produced before Sessions Court today.
Meanwhile, talking to Geo News, Nusrat and Samreen rejected the police claim, saying that they married of their own free will in Sukkur High Court on September 16. On Monday when they tried to move court for providing them protection their relatives informed the police, who took them into custody, they added.
