New gas reserves discovered in Khairpur
Experts hope that the discovery will help meet gas demand to a considerable extent.

KHAIRPUR: The Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDCL) has discovered new gas reserve in Khairpur district of Sindh.
The OGDCL, in a press release of stated that the gas reserve was discovered after drilling 4468 meter deep underground.
According to initial reports, around 23.5 MMFC gas was expected to be produced from the well on a daily basis once it was made functional, it said.
Experts hope that the discovery will help meet gas demand to a considerable extent.
