Lyari gangster Shahid Bikak ordered attack on Godil: officials
KARACHI: Lyari gangster Shahid Bikak had ordered the attack on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Rashid Godil, said the officials investigating the case on Wednesday.
The officials claimed to have arrested one more suspect identified as Pir Ali, who, according to the authorities, is a brother of slain Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Bilal Sheikh.

KARACHI: Lyari gangster Shahid Bikak had ordered the attack on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Rashid Godil, said the officials investigating the case on Wednesday.
The officials claimed to have arrested one more suspect identified as Pir Ali, who, according to the authorities, is a brother of slain Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Bilal Sheikh.
Pir Ali was apprehended in Rashid Godil attack case from Phase-6 of Defence Housing Authority (DHA) here.
The investigation officials said the accused arrested in the case earlier had confessed to executing the attack on Godil and receiving Rs200,000 each for the job.
Rashid Godil had come under an armed attack and sustained serious injuries when the assailants opened indiscriminate fire on his car in Bahadurabad area on September 22.
His driver had lost his life in the attack while it took the MQM leader several weeks to recover from the wounds.
