Election of Mayors, Deputy Mayors in Balochistan today
QUETTA: Oath taking of newly elected councilors would be held Wednesday (today) and the election of Mayors, Deputy Mayors, Chairmen and Deputy Chairmen will also be held all over Balochistan today for which arrangements have been finalized.
This was stated by Provincial Election Commissioner Balochistan Syed Sultan Bayazeed here Tuesday.

QUETTA: Oath taking of newly elected councilors would be held Wednesday (today) and the election of Mayors, Deputy Mayors, Chairmen and Deputy Chairmen will also be held all over Balochistan today for which arrangements have been finalized.
This was stated by Provincial Election Commissioner Balochistan Syed Sultan Bayazeed here Tuesday.
He said oath taking of all the elected councilors and councilors elected against special women Kissans, Labourers and minorities under section 28 of Balochistan Local Government Act 2010 and Rule 56 Balochistan Local government Election Rules 2013 at 9:00 AM.
Nomination papers for Chairmen, Deputy Chairmen, Mayors and Deputy Mayors will be filed with Returning officer later, who would scrutinize these notations.
Two third majority at the meeting is must.
Any member who had taken oath can be candidate for Chairmen, Deputy Chairmen, Mayors or Deputy Mayors office.
Any of the member who would take oath would propose or second any candidate.
Provincial Elation Commissioner said this final phase of local bodies election is very sensitive in nature. No unconcerned person including MPA, MNA, Ministers would allow entry into the polling station.
Provincial government has made strict arrangements for this so that phase is also completed peacefully. (PPI)
