Registration of over 7000 Sindh Madressahs nears completion
KARACHI: The process of registration for more than 7,400 religious Madressahs (seminaries) has reached a final stage of completion, said a report prepared by the Special Branch and obtained by Geo News on Monday.
The report further said that Karachi is home to 2,500 Madaressahs while the total number of these seminaries across the Sindh province touches over 7,400.

According to the figures of registered Madressahs in Karachi, there are 1,900 such facilities all across the metropolis.
It said the registration of these Madressahs was in final phase of completion.
