ISLAMABAD: Mohsin Ali, who is one of the key accused in Dr Imran Farooq’s murder case, made startling disclosures in his confession recorded before a magistrate a few days back.

“We bought a box of knives for executing Dr Imran Farooq. We dug a hole in the lawn outside Dr Imran’s residence and buried the box there,” he said.
In his confessional statement, Mohsin Ali said it was Kashif who inflicted stab and brick wounds on Dr Imran Farooq.
He said After killing Dr Imran Farooq he and Kashif fled to Sri Lanka’s capital Colombo and when they ran out of money, Khalid Shamim visited them there with more cash.
Mohsin said after spending sometime in Colombo, they came back to Karachi. Later, they spent five years in Afghanistan.
