Parents blame supernatural 'djinns' for toddler's death in GB
GILGIT BALTISTAN: A four-year old child was found mysteriously dead in the forest of Chilas valley and the blame for his death is being put not on any human being but rather supernatural creatures such as 'djinns.'

GILGIT BALTISTAN: A four-year old child was found mysteriously dead in the forest of Chilas valley and the blame for his death is being put not on any human being but rather supernatural creatures such as 'djinns.'
The toddler named Ahmed who lived in Somal village, 30 kilometres from Diamer city, had gone missing 11 days ago.
Four days before Eidul Azha, Ahmed had gone out to fetch water from a spring but never came back.
On October 1, eleven days after he had gone missing, villagers found his tortured dead body in the forest.
The parents’ statement recorded at City Chilas police station, says their son was killed by none other djinns.
Later, a team headed by DIG police exhumed the body for examination and samples were sent for tests.
According to police, the investigation is underway and only upon its completion will the actual cause of death be ascertained.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of Gilgit Baltistan, Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman has taken notice of the mysterious death while the IG Diamer says the actual reasons behind the death will be brought to light soon.
