KARACHI: The University of Karachi on Monday expelled both students and barred them from taking admission again in the varsity as a punishment for inviting super model Ayyan Ali to an event in the campus premises in the month of August.
The administration department of the Karachi University said: "Both the students who had invited Ayyan Ali to an event in the university's Public Administration department, would not be able to take admission for any future program."
The university administration took the disciplinary action only against the students, without raising any objection to the involvement, if any, of the department officials.
