LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Thursday said he welcomes 32 workers of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers who earlier announced coming into the fold of his party.
Talking to media persons here, Khan said only those can bring about change in the country who come forward and declare their assets.
He said he is repeatedly asked about his assets but ‘can anyone ask how (Prime Minister) Nawaz Sharif ended up owning assets worth Rs2 billion?’
The PTI chief said after coming into power his party’s government instead of opening doors of assemblies for thieves would put them behind the bars.
Khan further said telling lies and indulging in propaganda politics are ‘old habits of the N-league’s leadership’.
He said the PML-N further loses 32 votes since its workers have now joined the PTI.
