KARACHI: Just when people celebrated the arrival of new year, seventeen people were injured as a result of aerial firing in various areas of the city.
According to rescue sources, the aerial firing took place in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Lines Area, PIB Colongy, Defence Housing Authority, Clifton, Saddar and old city after the midnight.
Four of the injured were brought to Jinnah Post-graduate Medical Centre, two to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital while the rest were taken to other hospitals of the port city for immediate medical aid.
