11 arrested in Karachi for snatching of sacrificial hides
KARACHI: The Sindh Rangers and other law enforcement agencies have arrested at least 11 people involved in snatching of hides of sacrificial animals on the occasion of Eidul Azha in Karachi.

KARACHI: The Sindh Rangers and other law enforcement agencies have arrested at least 11 people involved in snatching of hides of sacrificial animals on the occasion of Eidul Azha in Karachi.
Sources in the paramilitary force said acting upon complaints registered by residents of New Karachi, Landhi, Liaquatabad, Federal B Area, PIB Colony, Jamshed Quarters and Jacob Lane, the troops arrested 11 people and recovered 150 animal hides from their possession.
Sources said eight of the suspects are affiliated with a political party while three others with different proscribed organisations.
The Sindh government had announced a strict code of conduct for collection of animal hides according to which only registered organisations are allowed to collect them.
