Punjab Election Commission proved its loyalty to PML-N: Imran Khan
LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday slammed Punjab Election Commission member Justice (retd) Kayani, saying the latter has proved he is a representative of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) by not showing up at the hearing of petition in connection with NA-122 filed by Aleem Khan.
In a statement issued on social media, the PTI chairman said the Election Tribunal took two years to arrive at a decision over finding 53,000 fake votes out of 1,84,000 in NA-122.
“Justice delayed is justice denied”, said Mr Khan adding that no one has been held accountable on malpractices committed during NA-122’s election.
He claimed that Aleem Khan had exposed a new way of rigging in NA-122 and warned the ECP that the people will not accept pre-poll rigging.
