PIA steward accused of theft detained in London
LONDON: A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight steward accused of theft was detained here on Tuesday.
Customs officials have recovered phones from flight steward Khurram Shahzad when his luggage was searched.
According to a PIA spokesman, Khurram Shahzad was part of the flight crew of PK-786 which flies from London to Islamabad.

In September 2014, custom authorities in Lahore took crew of PIA’s flight from London into custody after recovering mobile phones and foreign currency.
Earlier, In January 2014, a PIA steward was sentenced to five year imprisonment after proven guilty in heroin smuggling bid.
