ISLAMABAD: Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshall Sohail Aman called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at PM House on Tuesday.
The Premier and Air Chief exchanged views on professional matters of Pakistan Air Force.
On Monday, Sohail Aman visited Badaber PAF airbase that came under attack by militants on Friday. At least 29 including Army Capt Isfandyar, PAF personnel and people offering prayers at a mosque were martyred in the deadly attack.
All 13 attackers were killed by the security forces in retaliation.
He said the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) will not hesitate to render any sacrifice to protect the sovereignty and integrity of the country.
The air chief said the ongoing operation against terrorists and extremists was a war to protect the future of the nation. “PAF will never let the sacrilegious intentions of the enemy to succeed,” he said.
