Imran asks PTI supporters to vote for ‘change’  

It’s important for all the PTI voters to come and exercise their right of vote to expose rigging in 2013 general elections, he said. Khan further said unless punitive action is taken against those committing electoral fraud across the board, the country will never have fair and transparent elections.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has asked all PTI supporters in Lodhran, where by-election in being held in NA-154, to come out and vote for change. 

In a message on social media, Imran Khan said, “I want all our PTI supporters in Lodhran to come out and vote for change.”

It’s important for all the PTI voters to come and exercise their right of vote to expose rigging in 2013 general elections, he said.

Khan further said unless punitive action is taken against those committing electoral fraud across the board, the country will never have fair and transparent elections.

He said, “With no one being held accountable and punished for electoral fraud and administrative lapses, elections will continue to be controversial.”

Khan questioned why action was not taken against responsibles after 40 wrongdoings were identified by Judicial Commission in 2013 general elections and Secretary Election Commission of Pakistan had admitted that Local Bodies elections in Islamabad, Sindh and Punjab were ‘flawed’.

Imran Khan wished “Good Luck” to Jahangir Tahreen Khan for today’s by-election in Lodhran.
