ABBOTTABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Saturday arrested former principal of the Ayub Medical College, Muhammad Ayub for misuse of power.
According to NAB, Professor Muhammad Ayub was working with Higher Education Commission as an expert and when he visited National Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) he persuaded the students to take admission in NIMC and allowed them to practice at Ayub Medical college.
The students’ future was put on risk besides their parents paid Rs550 million in lieu of fee.
NAB will present the accused in the accountability court soon.
