Four die as PPP, PML-F workers clash in Sanghar

SANGHAR: With only two days to go before the Local Government elections, political rivals Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) activists clashed on Tuesday, killing at least four people including official guards of a PPP MPA.

According to details, at least six people also received bullet wounds after the two sides resorted to open gunfire at each other when their election rallies merged at Rehmani Chowk area of Sanghar.

The injured and bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital.

The local bodies polls in Sanghar were rescheduled for December 17 after the killing of at least 11 people in Khairpur district during the first phase of elections.
