At least 11 killed, 59 injured in Multan suicide blast
MULTAN: At least 11 people were killed and 59 others injured in a suicide blast at Vehari Chowk in Multan on Sunday night.

MULTAN: At least 11 people were killed and 59 others injured in a suicide blast at Vehari Chowk in Multan on Sunday night.
Rescue sources said the injured have been rushed to Nishtar Hospital for treatment where emergency has been declared.
District Coordination Officer (DCO) Salim Zahid Gondal told reporters that it was a suicide attack, not a cylinder blast as reported earlier.
He added that one of the bodies found seemed suspicious.
Police and other law enforcement personnel have cordoned off the area while a bomb disposal squad is inspecting the site of the blast.
The blast which was heard far and wide also damaged five rickshaws, one car, one motorcycle, and two shops.
