LAHORE: Three restaurants located at a food street near Badshahi mosque were sealed as part of the ongoing crackdown on outlets selling substandard food in Punjab.
The raid was conducted by the officials of Punjab Food Authority here on Saturday and sealed three restaurants for failing to maintain food standards and hygiene.

LAHORE: Three restaurants located at a food street near Badshahi mosque were sealed as part of the ongoing crackdown on outlets selling substandard food in Punjab.
The raid was conducted by the officials of Punjab Food Authority here on Saturday and sealed three restaurants for failing to maintain food standards and hygiene.
The team also seized leftover food items and uncovered meat stored in a rusty freezer. The staff of the restaurants was found working without the necessary medical certificates.
Later, Director Operations, Ayesha Mumtaz ordered that the three restaurants be sealed at once.
